Hsinchu East Gate
​ (Ying Xi)

The name of the East Gate - Ying Xi means "greet the dawn".
​Ying Xi locat at the East Gate roundabout, it's the only remaining gate of Zhuzhan City, witnessing a century of urban development.

The beer contain unique origin flavor, with a smooth mouthfeel that is not sticky, and a crisp finish.

​ (Yi Shuang)​

The name of the West Gate - Yi Shuang means "drawing in freshness", reflecting the vitality and crispness of the Ximen area.

This beer has a clear golden appearance and offers a refreshing taste with a lasting finish.

The name of the South Gate - Ge Xun means "nurtured by songs", capturing the leisurely and pleasant atmosphere of the Nanmen area.

The name of the North Gate - Gong Chen means "guardian of the stars", representing the steadfastness and stability of the Beimen area.

Phoenix Bridge​


The beer inspired by the Unforgettable Phoenix Bridge which film in 1963, the story of a student and an artist's love journey through challenges and eventual union.

​The beer is unique, featuring delicate bubbles and a long-lasting, creamy white foam. It offers a smooth mouthfeel and a crisp finish, reminiscent of a simpler, more sincere era.

HsinChu Local Kumquat beer

Using kumquat jam produce by the century-old Yishun Ice Factory in Puli, with its rich aroma from natural yeast.

The overall taste is smooth and mellow. We've intentionally retained the salty flavor from the orange and blend with the beer's complexity, finishing with a hint of spiciness from both orange and chili.

Smoked Plum March Beer

The beer blends the characteristics of two breweries, using smoked plums from Xinyi Township in Nantou. The plums are slow-cooked to enhance it's rich, caramelized flavor.

The beer has a smooth and mellow taste, with the plum aroma unfolding on the palate and a lingering finish of sweet plum flavor.

Chill 53 Lychee Sour Beer

Brewing sour beer is a significant milestone for brewers, much like reach the status of Yushan for mountaineers in Taiwan. For sour beer, the commitment of the Free Spirits is to use local Taiwanese yeast strains, which not only demands technical skill but also demonstrates the love for the land.

However, ideals are often more fulfilling than reality. Countless batches of wort were sacrificed in pursuit of the ideal yeast strain, until accidentally discovery
from National Kaohsiung University of Science and Technology Professor Wu Jianhui's collection of yeast strains.

The yeast strain not only produces a beautifully balanced sour flavor but also imparts subtle flavor of grape and lychee. This unexpected delight led to the creation of this sour beer, lately combined with high-quality Yu He Pao lychee juice.
